Fun time at the dog park with a Turtle and another Vizsla!

It’s been pretty hot and humid lately, so I thought I’d take the dogs to the park in the morning. I let Daisy and Lulu in the park and took Rosco to see a turtle that was walking towards a pond. It was pretty funny because at first Rosco didn’t even respond to the turtle. I don’t think he even knew it was an animal as the turtle wasn’t moving. Then Rosco sniffed the turtle’s tail. Once the turtle moved his tail Rosco wanted to play with it! Despite all the wrinkles on his forehead and whining, Rosco left the turtle alone.

At this point, Rosco doesn't even know the Turtle is an animal

Let the obsessing begin!

We were at the park for about 30 minutes when we saw another Vizsla coming towards the park. We’ve never seen any other Vizslas at the dog park so it was pretty neat. Fun to see how they run and play together.

About Scott of

I have many varied interests. My background is in business, accounting, real estate and entrepreneurship. My wife Angela says at heart I am an entrepreneur and coach. I own three Vizslas: Rosco, Daisy, and Lulu. The picture on my Gravatar is Rosco, our oldest.

Realizing the transition to Vizsla ownership was not an easy one for myself and my wife, I decided to create a Vizsla DVD to help educate potential and current Vizsla owners on tips, tricks, and techniques that work well with our dogs.

I look forward to the day when no Vizsla puppies or adult dogs have to be rescued or given up because people did not have the resources to handle this highly energetic breed.
